Iraqi national committee (NC) is a new initative organized by Sir Hans Von Sponeck, UWC Iraqi Alumni Group, and other Iraqi and International UWC Alumni and scholars. It is important to underline the fact that, prior to the attempts of forming an Iraqi NC, the country was very well-served by the solitary but hugely effective efforts of Sir Hans Von Sponeck, former UN official in Iraq.
